I was here for one night on a business trip, and the company I was visiting in Vicenza recommended Villa Tacchi. I found it to be a delightful refuge and a good value — although, given other recent reviews, I should note that the hotel was nearly empty when I stayed there (so no noise issues) and I got a low corporate rate (so it certainly wasn't high priced). My single room was nicely appointed, and I enjoyed wandering along the rambling hallways and spacious grounds. The main drawback was the remoteness--the restaurant was closed the night I arrived and I had to travel a bit to find one that was open. In all, it was a welcome respite to the city hotels I stayed in during the my other stops in Italy.
