The hotel is clean, illuminated, rarely I found more professional staff, clearly trained in hospitality. The hotel is aware that you come to let yourself pamper and they make their part. It is a great service. I didnt have to ask anything or call for anything: everything was just the way it had to be. The food is delicious and exquisitely served. They have an area for children right next to the restaurant where a nice babysitter plays with your children and make sure they get their own dinner. There are a few children areas and one is at open air. The children pool is warm up and the whole sauna-pool-fitness area is quite pleasant. The room is certaintly one of the best rooms I had in a hotel (I always go to 4-5 stars).
Small things is that you have to pay the drinks separately in the dinner, they make you sit too close to other people and sometimes the other guests are noisy; the internet is pretty expensive in room and only one computer can be used in reception for free. But that doesnt mean that the hotel doesnt deserve an excellet quallification.
Finally, as it is the first time I go to Merano 2000, I didnt know that they had a "funivia" and the hotel didnt mention in any information to the client that the tickets are included in the stay, seemed to me that they prefer you dont know this but when I asked they told me and I requested the tickets. It turned to be a really wonderful surprise!!! After the funivia you arrive to the mountains, can enjoy nature, make wonderful walks, there's an air castle for small children, concerts with great music and even the nicest bob of Italia is there!!!
The day came that we had to leave the hotel, it was sad and we enjoyed the last minutes watching the mountains in front of our balcony and taking the last breakfast. Something is certain: we will turn back.
