I'm totally amazed by some of the reviews on here complaining about how terrible this Hotel is!
I have just returned from a weeks holiday here with my mum and it was absolute paradise on Earth! The rooms were really airey and spacious, the bathroom was lovely and more than adequate!
There was a problem with our Air Con one afternoon, so I made a call to Reception who apologised a lot, said they would send maintenance round and within 2 minutes, he was there to sort it out!
Check is wasnt lengthy at all!! We arrived, was asked to take a seat, given a Rum Punch and then a few minutes later we were shown to our room and a really helpful guy called Nigel took our luggage for us - why do the Brits in particular have to rush, rush, rush? Your on holiday on a beautiful Island, chill out and relax!
All of the staff were fantastic, couldnt fault any of them - they all did their best to make our stay fantastic, nothing was too much effort and they were all so helpful!
There wasnt a problem with Aircraft noise at all! We sunbathed on the beach a couple of times and the Aircraft flying overhead didnt bother us at all, it wasnt that noisy!!
The restaurants were all superb, offering a wide variety of different foods - absolutely fantastic!!
A "trip" must is Ted's Island Tour, he is fantastic, the tour is amazing and well, well worth the money! Go on book it, you wont be disappointed!!!

Would I go again? ABSOLUTELY! I loved this Hotel, the people and the Island itself, it was an absolutely fantastic holiday!

This resort was not my original choice. The one I wanted north of Bridgtown was fully booked, but I'm certainly glad I had my holiday at the Turtle Beach. Friendly Staff. Generally very good service from everyone. The Sea View Junior Suite was great. It was clean and well serviced each day. The nice thing also about this resort is it's location close to St. Lawrence Gap. A ten minute walk gets you into many bars, restaurants and clubs, so you never real under 'resort arrest'. We would certainly go back to this resort when we return again to Barbados.

Hi all, we booked this hotel for 14 nights but only spent 3 in it. Worst holiday experience ever. staff so rude its scary you want to get out of there. Food unedible, service non existent -room has not been cleaned in 3 days -had to ask reception for fresh towels but ended up using beach towels as they were easy to get. In the room two single beds pushed together to make what they advertise a king size bed and our daughter had to slip on sofa bed with light cover over the metal springs-not even a matress. No kids club as advertised and the sea huge waves -was not possible to get in for a swim certainly dangerous for kids. red flag all the time. Once dining in the restaurant with my family suddenly about 10 hotel security staff came in and started beating a man to the ground who was sitting with his family then dragged him outside-terrifying!! We left this hell the following morning -stayed in Hilton for the rest of the holidays-great place!! Never ever again

Just sat on the beach reading the many reports about Turtle Beach, as they say one mans food is another's poison, how you can call this place poison is beyond me, the hotel is excellent, the rooms are large and spacious and fully re furnished, bright and Airey, the welcombe was excellent and friendly and was shown to our room immediately upon arrival with a rum punch in hand, the staff cannot do enough for you, food is excellent in all three restaurants, don't have a thing to complain about, only praise.
As for the comments with aircraft landings the planes fly past the hotel well over the sea, they don't even bother you, no noise , infact most are little island hoppers, passes the day watching them come into land over the blue blue sea.
Fantastic Hotel not to big and not to small.
