unfortunally the rooms are still like in the old times, twin beds as double and incredibly ugly. ugly from 1967 when all the hotels were build in this area. o course they where renovated but not majorly.
it was a dark and grandmother like room without any freshness or mediteran flair.
they do not have 1 room facing the sea. most of the hotels here are not facing this beautiful sea.

Although very hesitant to check out Romania after the many stories I had heard about it I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Cocor Spa Hotel was a great, clean hotel to stay in and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The rooms were cleaned every day and the food was freshly prepared each day with no cause for complaint. I personally have a few food intolerances and it was no problem for the staff to accommodate me and prepare something special. The words I heard most during my week in this hotel were - You're Welcome. I would be happy to return to this hotel any time, the only minus were the hard beds but I think this is normal for a big part of the world and it was no problem for overlays to be placed on the beds to sort this problem.
