The room was extremely small and had two tiny single beds pushed together. The room was very shabby and was in urgent need of cleaning and painting. The bathroom was substandard with no stand for the shower. This was not the standard of the poorest 2* hotel. The bed had contained creatures that me bit quite hard and I still have the marks. The breakfast was fresh but overpriced at 9 euros for what it contained. The fixed menu dinner was quite good. The only plus about this hotel is its location which is very pretty indeed, but not pretty enough to make us stay for the second night that we had booked. I appreciate that this is a old mill house but the internal accommodation needs urgent updating. It could not be classified as quaint just unsatisfactory.

Picturesque setting by river outside a village. Our room was very small and the sit-in bath extremely difficult to get in and out of. Also the walls were VERY thin - we could hear every single thing going on next door.
The restaurant looked beautiful but there was no choice on the set menu. The main course was mullet which neither of us likes so in the evening we walked into Pontaubert.
We found the host, however, to be most pleasant.

lovely stay at Moulin des Templiers. We booked one night on our way to the Provence and the Cote d'Azur and would certainly recommend it to others. Very good value for the price, very charming location. Good parking facilities, good meal and good breakfast!

This is an old watermill with lots of character in a stunningly beautiful setting. Great home cooking in a rustic dining room was one of the highlights of our trip. Rooms are smallish and clean. Wonderful young couple run the place. 10 minute drive to Vezelay. We stayed for 2 nights after arriving in Paris and it was a great place to unwind.
