I have written a review for these apartments last year. My mum and I had a great time so we returned this year again. Seguro were on the news about their planes (skywings) running out of fuel etc..a week after we booked so we were quite nervous to say the least! Fortunately we didn`t have any problems with the flights at all but I cant speak for everyone at the place! Rocamar is still a lovely place to stay, but I`m a Puerto Rico fan. Some of the bottom apartments have been renovated with new bathrooms (which are beautiful) and with air conditioning in the living area AND bedroom area. (we had air con in the bedroom area but it only works when you shut the main doors!) Its a huge improvement though as it was unbearable without it. The towel wars were still taking place but while we were there rules were made so if you went down to the pool and all the sunbeds were taken but no-one was lying on them, you have the permission of the hotel to take the towels off and hand them into reception. It WAS getting a bit of a joke though! Food is bar food and cheap but you can come and go with the cook and order off the menu (e.g its fast food & breakfasts but he made a mixed salad for me). The weather was amazing... in the 90`s so beware! Mum and I had a few lovely meals. If you like Italian, you HAVE to go to Al Ponte in the centre commercial, its gorgeous. Oscars is really nice too, thats along beside Puerto Rico beach. We also liked Il pescador II for a juicy fillet steak! Amadores beach is worth going to, the sand doesn`t burn your feet which I was amazed by!! The Rocamar is still all Scottish holidaymakers so whether thats your cup of tea or not, its upto you. All in all, we had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed the Rocamar again.
