Kind and helpful staff. Nice restaurant with delicious food. Quiet, clean room, with a balcony, and a view to the garden. Nice, relaxing pool. As to the location, this is a perfect one, with a view to the mountains. I strongly recommend Vardis Olive Garden hotel.

For us this hotel/apartment accommodation was a disappointment: Standard facilities like a good bed (1.40 and hard), full breakfast, you cant eat lunch at the hotel, friendly staff (service) during our visit etc. are missing here. Drinks and ice cream are on average € 0.50-1.00 more expensive than other locations. The environment is magnificent, though you need a to be able to enjoy the scenery.

If you want to use the air conditioning (you need this!) you have to pay € 7.00 per day and a safe for your valuables is € 2.50 per day :-S... As far as for us this hotel is not recommended for people who want to enjoy the basic facilities during their stay in a hotel.

One +: The food and wine in the restaurant is very good :)

We stayed at this hotel during july and this if the hottest period of the year at Crete.

Luckyly the hotel has enough shade, a nice pool and you can cooldown your room at night with the help of wind in the cooler olive garden around the hotel.

The hotel restaurant is a nice restaurant to have some good food and offcourse within some minutes you can find other places to eat something.

As a toptip I can recomemnd the bicycle rentals in Georgioupolis (30min. by feet) which have really good rental prices for a MTB for a week (15-17€/week)! Perfect for using it to bicycle to the lake.

As a plus the hotel has free wifi in the hotel lobby (and at the terrace of the bar).

Great hotel! Could not say it otherwise. Spacious rooms, nice staff, quiet and relaxing place. The pool is relaxing. We booked 1 week here with dinner every night in the hotel. The food was very good! Although there wasnt much choice every night (its not a massive buffet), but we found it enough and always nice! Real greek food, and they also served some other food every night. But we loved the greek food! This hotel is very quiet and relaxing and above all its very clean and tidy!! Would really recommend it. Only one downside, was quiete far from the beach and other restaurants and bars, would definitly reccomend a car here. If you have a rental car, the location is perfect. Also great: the view on the mountains when you're lying at the pool! I would definitly go back here!!
