What a superb location!

At arrival we were received very hospitable by two ladies at the reception desk. As being real tourguides they told us a lot about the direct area of the hotel as well as the 'where to go's'. The room that we had is modern and well equipped, all necessary items are available. Thank you for having iPod dockingstations at most of the rooms as well as free WiFi! We have rented two bikes for a day to get around, afterwards we enjoyed our drinks at one of the (waterside!) terraces. Dinner at the restaurant is good, we loved the wines..

Bring your swimwear, because you can use the brand new swimmingpool and sauna. Due to it's location you could also decide to explore the massive (privately owned) forrest and dunes area. Route descriptions are available at the reception desk.

We've enjoyed our stay at blooming hotel and no doubt we will be back.. soon!

We had a great time being at Blooming Hotel! We stayed for three days and we slept in a 'roomy room' which means the children had a boxbed (with television!), they were thrilled! All employees were polite and willing to make our stay unforgettable.
The food was good en last but not least: we have never seen a hotel in such a magnificent environment!

I loved my stay at hotel blooming! I wanted to get away from it all and it worked perfectly! Our room was big and clean and the breakfast was great. Off course the morning sun helped within this as well... I love the way blooming plays with text. 'Director of Happinez' on the sunchairs etc. Definitely coming back one day!

Pros
- Good location to start hiking or biking into the dunes or to the shore.
- Good breakfast
- Free Dutch newspapers
- Swimming pool and sauna

Cons
- Noisy: rooms are not well insulated, not even the new rooms
- Be prepared for torn sheets with holes and stains
- One member of the staff is completely out of place in a hotel: she reacts hostile towards a complaint, cannot say "we are sorry for the inconvenience", doesn't show any understanding or kindness. Must be the same "Ms" that has told people that a not functioning heating in winter is no problem.
- It must have been a refreshing place, but the freshness has become stale.

So-so
- Design, concept, slogans: some ideas are nice, but there is a bit too much of it.
- Dinner is OK, but that is all. Some dishes are served not being hot enough. Dessert is served with a wilting piece of mint.

Verdict
Unfriendly, uninspired, no attention to details.
