Not bad location and service, but cold rooms and humidity. Please choose this place only in summer and if you have a car or something to move abroad.

If you'ready to accept the misadvantage of an old country family house you will be delighted. The place seems to have its story, the guests are really nice and helpful, but yes you won't have the comfort of a modern city situated hotel. Nevertheless you will be in a very calm location, and if you have a car you will be able to join the nicest places of the region (Sintra,Estoril,Cascais, Ericeira, Mafra...) in one hour max.

The owner (Luis) speaks english, spanish and french very well and he gives good ideas and tricks to plan your journey.

Booked a stay for three days in this place last August based upon the rather attractive website. What a deception! The place obviously has not been cared for properly, with old rooms badly in need of paint and maintenance - the place must have been very nice twenty years ago, but is desparately in need of work now. Interestingly enough, my room key also opened the other rooms (I mistakenly went to the wrong door). The garden is a mess. There is no bar or restaurant service (the nearest decent restaurant is 10 kms away). Everything is musty and decrepid. We walked away from our deposit, gladly loosing the money rather than having to spend our previous vacation time in such a dump!
