My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in early October 2011 whilst touring the Champagne region. We stayed in the detatched barn conversion which was clean and comfortable and of course very spacious for the two of us. The chambres d'hote is situated in a small quite village to the West of Reims. The hosts provide an evening meal starting at 30 euros per head with wine. The food was excellent but a little on the portions were a little on the small side. If all the guests are eating then you eat together. My wife and I were tagged onto the end of a party of 7 which made it a little awkard, especially as food and drink is shared. That said, this would be a great set-up if you are staying as a group. Breakfast is much the same, shared, very tasty, with home-made yoghurt, jams and compotes but I would have liked some unhealthy pastry options! There is a drinks menu available, although we were never informed of this and only found out on our last evening which was a shame.

There is a small Champagne house 50 metres from the gate (Dubois Forget), which is very handy. However, we didn't get to try it as we had a packed schedule of arduous tasting already!

This is a good base for touring the Champagne region if you are planning to strike out on your own and drive yourself around the area. You can be in the heartland of the vineyards within 20 minutes. Rosnay is located just off the Western section of the "Route Touristique de Champagne", which can be picked up in the next door village of Gueux (pronounced Ger). Also in Gueux is the old race circuit, Circuit de Reims-Gueux which hosted a number of 12 hour races and Formula 1 races in the 50's and 60's. Although now disused, a local society are slowing bringing the place back to life. Well worth a visit and drive down the home straight.

All in all, we had a pleasant stay, the Meunier's are an amiable couple who provide comfortable surroundings.

This was the second time I have stayed here - and again it is consistently good. We stayed for just one night this time on the way back from Swtzerland, but it would make a perfect weekend base for visiting Reims and the Champagne region. This time we stayed in the very clean and comfortable Oriental room. Even though the house full full of guests we could not hear anything. We had a wonderful night's sleep as it was so quiet and dark with the shutters closed. Again the home cooked food was great - Dinner: mushroom soup, duck with amazing Dauphinoise potatoes, cherry tart followed by cheeses and wine included. The breakfast included an array of different breads and cheese as well as yogurts, fresh juice and coffee and a selection of teas and homemade jams. I would recommend Annette and Philippe Meunier's B&B to anyone visiting the area or passing through France, and I'm sure we'll go back.

Very nice room (Champange room), which is the best room in the place. The first night there was no one else there so that is the room we had. Very nice hosts, ENglish is not their first language but they can communicte well enought. Annette is an incredible cook (her web site says she is an architect but I think she must have been a cook) the dinner we had was exceptional and I highly recommend it (there is nothing to eat in the town so you would have to drive anyway). Easy to find (with the directions they provide) and close to Reims and the tour routes. Would stay here again.

We were delighted with this lovely hidden secret away from the motor way. Our hosts were really charming as was the food. Our bedrooms were unusual to say the least with individual charmed themed bedrooms, we stayed in the Egyptian Room, and we felt like a King & Queen. Every detail was paid to the interior decorations, and the whole building was steeped in warmth & charm, would definetly recommend this location to our friends.
