After travelling from New Zealand on our honeymoon we arrived at 1am to be greeted warmly and happily but to a little bad news. The luxury honeymoon villa we had booked to top off our month long trip was not available. We were not best please having all the stress of the wedding and travelling for a month, we were really looking forward to ultimate relxation. We were put up in another, less superior villa for that night and for the next night. I can only imagine that they had another booking overlapping slightly and didn't want to turn it down. We did make a complaint and were pleased that we weren't charged at all for our first two nights. A nice gesture I thought and wanted to mention it here to be fair. Apart from that our stay was fablous, the villa is amazing and I can only highly recommend it. It was one of the best times of our lives and can't wait to go back!

We Stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the villa. if anything it is too big!!!.
It is a 15 minute walk to Muri shops/restaurants which is not too bad. The bathroom is huge. Very good value for money. our only criticisms would be that they had 2 complementary pairs of goggles but only 1 pair of flippers. (minor Problem) and that you cant swim in front of the villa, there is too much coral and rocks, but you dont have to walk too far.
We had a few unusually windy days there so the pool that your own villa has was very handy as it was protected from the wind

My husband and I loved the villas.. they were beautiful and well worth it for a honeymoon stay. Very secluded - not a resort so doesnt have hundreds of people walking around.. the beach was basically all ours - though we only had good weather for 2 days..

We found the restaurants to be extremely expensive so we took advantage of the full kitchen in the villa and cooked 3 of the nights. We had to hire a car as the location is too far to get anywhere - and we were charged $80 for a return cab fare into the city..

We were tossing up between Sea Change and Rendezvous villas - it turned out sea change was booked out so lucky for us! it is roughly the same price for a garden villa in sea change (ie. view of garden and beach is across the road) and the rendezvous beach front secluded villas... well worth it!!!!

Fantastic getaway location.
Spent a great seven nights in the Cook Islands. Loved the villa, the private location, the service and the snorkelling.
Get a car or scooter (much more fun) as it's located a fair walk to the store.

Very laidback island. Swimmers, fake tan, sarong and sunglasses are all you need. Beware the Mai Tai's at Trader Jacks.
