Well it is a little dated now as it is old property. It is still my favorite hotel with its open areas, nice beach and proximity to many good attractions. The staff and food is excellent....typical taj quality. Rooms are little smaller than other hotels but very comfortable.

We, a family of five booked two rooms for two days and got a very special price from them for two connecting rooms. Cottages all around right on the beach gave us a perfect place to enjoy. Cool yourself in the pool or waddle in the sea or do it alternatively whole day is your choice. You have lots of water sports available there . A very clean, healthy breeze with lots of palm trees around gives a perfect feeling and tranquility of a village . Mouth watering food of all kinds is available which you can enjoy with any kind of hard and soft drinks. Perfect courtesy and politeness was seen among the room service, house keeping , pool staff, and waiters in the restaurants. Lots of activities are done for children. A nice place to spend your holidays. .

The hotel's best features are its location in North Goa, just by the sea and Fort Aguada and the ample space it has within the property. After being picked up from the airport-we did have to travel about an hour and half to get to the hotel but it was worth the wait as we caught the beautiful sunset, heading straight to the beach. I loved the decor of the villa and the beautiful old banyan trees and a variety of beautiful flora around the property. The staff were helpful and polite. We went in the peak period of December but it didn't feel crowded at all given the ample space. Breakfast was very good although they were a bit busy and this was where you saw that the hotel was pretty full! We enjoyed roaming around the property, eating at the seafront restaurant and at the Taj Aguada's Italian restaurant which had excellent live music! Through the beach access, you could walk all the way to Baga beach and this was great-although during the monsoon season, the beach access is closed. We only stayed for three days but they were memorable and we savoured the peace and quiet. Overall a very good experience and well recommended.

Our favourite hotel in Goa, mostly because of its location in North Goa, we have stayed here thrice already and every time its fantastic. We were given a bottle of champagne, cake and flowers for our anniversary which made it even more special. The hotel is beach is small but cleaner than Baga etc. Hiring a bike/car is easy as its right outside the hotel. Not a great fan of the food so we mostly ate outside. Must check out 'Calamari' Shack in Candolim, fantastic food and ambience and just 10 mins walk from the hotel. Overall a great stay.
