1. The Name says Yarlam Resort... but its a Hotel Property with Rooms
2. Nice Rooms and Good Service
3. Good Food
4. Nice Service. Friendly Staff.. (The Manager insisted upon getting our breakfast packed when he learnt that we were to leave for site seeing before the restaurant would open in the morning)
5. Hot Water is NOT 24 Hours

Room Tip: Ask for Front Facing Rooms so as to enjoy the scenic view

usually when we planned for sikkim tour ,people said your tour is full of hard ship, as except gangtok, other places of sikkim does not have good hotels and good foods.on request of our tour guide we selected lachung with hotelyerlam.rate of yarlam hotel was exectly 3 times more than second best option.we r little bit worried that is it worth to spend this money for hotel.after our tour , i m sure if u r not taking yarlam hotel than u must not like lachung and never everplan to go to lachung again in entire life.being gujarati,if you find gujarati food, cafeterria with food like pizza, sandwitch and at such location is really out standing.in lachung to get a drink or tea you have to travel 4-5 km.i request please do not go to lachung if u r not taking yarlam..and make sure stay for two days...i m writting this review inspite of we had some problem with hotel manangment. As personal issue is not changes there effort as such a remote place.Thet had a some staff issue but there job is out standing.

Room Tip: take only lachung , not lachen if you have kids with you. stay for 2 days at lachung is must.all ro...

“Excellent Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

Yarlam is incomparable to other hotels available in Lachung. Yarlam is the only hotel which provides luxurious accommodation in Lachung. All the other hotels have very basic amenities.
If you are staying at Mayfair or Royal Plaza in Gangtok then you got to stay at Yarlam. All the other hotels in Lachung are good in service but are disappointing in terms of luxury.
The hotel has good restaurant & the chef has knowledge of all Indian cuisines and tastes of different community. The in-room entertainment contains of a Tata Sky connection and also a DVD player.

Room Tip: Choose rooms on higher floor on the left hand side of the hotel.

“One of the best hotels in Lachung”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2011

We stayed at this hotel as part of our trip to sikkim, we got to stay here for 1 night and 2 days. The place was neat and clean, the staff are very halpful, in particular the manager. We went in the wrong season, rainy, and it was damn cold, the power went off, on request they got us a heater which worked on LPG gas. The food as well was very good.
One point, as i have made a note on my other reviews as well, voda/airtel/idea or for that matter any other network provider does not have coverage here. So please get yourself a BSNL number if you are travelling to this location.

“Nice Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2011

Yarlam : a best option in Lachung but an average hotel

The food was good the staff was very cooperative & supportive. There is no Landline phone only BSNL network available

Even here there is limited service for 2 reason manpower is less & all the food stuff they have to get from Gangtok which is 7hrs drive from Lachung

The view is good from the hotel the siteseeing is Zero point, Yumthang Valley & Hot spring which is confined to a room.

Very bad experience of Lachung so not worth visiting here for 2night 3 days if any body interested in natural beauty it is worth spending few days but no outdoor activity so kids might not like, just enjoy beauty with your hobby of reading, painting etc. Through out the year the weather is cold so woollen cloth is recommended

Zero point & Yumthang valley is very windy & at high altitude so proper precaution needed in terms woolledn clothes & cover the head & ears properly

There is not much toroam around near hotel as the roads are narrow & spiral so risky walking out
