After few weeks of backpacking in India, we went to the Maharani hotel for our last week in India. It was the perfect choice. The place is so beautiful ,surrounded with joungle and mango trees, with walking paths and magic sitting courners. The rooms are big and comfortable, designed so well with lovely private balcony. And the food was so gooood and special. Bottom line GO THERE!

We went there with couple of friends for a quick weekend break, it was one of most memorable stay for my family, i was travelling with 8 month old son, this place is hidden gem, you cant judge from outside but the rooms and service makes this place really awesome. Staff were really friendly and helpfull and trying their best to help with everything. They even used to baby sit while we were having our dinner, lunch etc...Morning breakfast was special treat too.
Rooms were big and bed was really comfortable.
Recommend the walk in the orchard, we spent our afternoon relaxing by the pool, they served the drinks and finger food to us there on request.
Overall very good property. I miss our stay at that property.

We stayed here for one night in the middle of a two-week tour of Rajasthan.
The hotel is wonderful - shielded from the road, spread around the beautiful gardens the rooms are in pairs, in bungalows with terraces and a courtyard style garden with chairs and tables to share. The rooms are large and comfortable - for us, the most comfortable beds on our tour, great seats on the terrace to just kick back and soak up the peace, fresh air, sounds of nature.
Food was very good, service top class.
Our tour came at the end of my busiest time at work - a time when I usually go to Champneys for a week. Next time we plan on splitting two weeks between Udaipur and the Maharani Bagh - with the Maharani Bagh for a week of pure comfort and relaxation.

We stayed here one night while on ur excursion in Rajasthan. The property is huge and just on the border of a forest. While on my morning walk I actually saw some deer, a tortoise, lot of peacocks and a herd of neelguy. There are lot of trees and most had fruits... My daughters managed to pick a few mangoes. Loved the place.
