Names are often Misleading, and the Exotica Beach Resort takes full privilege in taking benefit from the same.
From dirty and stained linens to un swept flooring to a non working Air Conditioner, the trip was a full of misery. We heard some good things about this place and were ready to pay the paid an exorbitant amount for this hotel. And that is where the whole foolishness of taking this trip started.
The road from Pune, was an adventure all along, for a good kilometer you are driving on Mud and Gravel road as the normal tarred roads go missing and you are left to wonder at start 'Was it a Good Idea'.
The adventure does not end there, as soon as we enter ghats, the rocks start falling on the road and to our dismay there was no network or emergency number mentioned that we could reach on that could help us. The roads are narrower even than the streets of Chandni Chowk in New Delhi.
And as soon as you enter Dive Agar, you enter a dumpyard named 'Exotica Beach Resort' the place filthy. The Restaurant which happens to be the best in town does not serve you 80% of the dishes in it's menu, so you again think 'Was it a Good Idea' yo come here.
Then the so called awesome beach which is muddy, lifeless, with no life guards and eve teasers you are really now cursing yourself and saying 'Yes, this wasn't a good idea,'
We reached at 12 noon and left as early as 7 am to just move out of the place which was as Un-EXOTIC as this.
