Decent location for Winnersh Triangle but gourmet pub this isn't. Catering largely for construction contractors I was certainly the odd one out wearing a suit at breakfast. Breakfast was OK except for the half a plate of baked beans - sisnce when was a mound of baked beans a full English? Evening menu was pricy too - £14 for a stew or pork hock was not cheap and when the waitress said that she couldn't put custard on the cruble because she couldn't find the tin opener to open a tin of custard !! so I ended up with ice cream instead!
The room hadn't been vacuumed and the white bits on the carpet stayed there for 3 days, the bathroom taps had been fitted the wrong way round and the shower had brown streaks through lack of cleaning. Being ground floor the windows were all closed and it smelt like the previous occupant had been eating chips in there.
OK for the price but better & cheaper is available...
