I made a reservation for 2 nights at Hotel Nord during July 2011. I got the reservation confirmed only after 2-3 emails so I had to call the hotel up to get the reservation confirmed

When arriving the door to the hotel was open but no staff or guests where there. No cars parked outside the hotel. This hotel seems to be abandoned and closed !

Instead I stayed at Elisabeths Restaurant (Matstovan Hjá Elisabeth - 200 meters from Hotel Nord) that recently had started with B&B. A much better choice in Vidareidi !
