“havent been yet and wish i werent”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

booked this hotel in june,it stated free breakfast then they said it was ten euro, after many arguments they waived the breakfast fee,,,reading bad reviews about the transfer i decided to contact the hotel and the booking site they told me not to worry,so today i mailed them as a courtesy as 14 are going to book a transfer and the response i got is sorry first come first served and as i was wanting to go to disney at 5pm for the halloween party i couldnt as the shuttle only runs from 8.30 untill 12.30 and home between 6 and 8p,m as im not even in the country at 12,30 i told them this is impossible ,they then told me i could take a taxi but they still couldnt bring us home because transfers have to be booked return and one way not allowed,so its going to cost 400 euro in taxis...also fri i leave for home at 4.30 and i was planning half day in didney but transfer times dont allow this,iv been to disney a few times and never experienced this sham...dont book this hotel

“Dirty, noisy, would never stay again. Jamais!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

We requested clean linens when we saw they were very questionable, but never received them. There were stains and "stuff" stuck on the bathroom walls and ceiling. I refused to let our child use the swimming pool after we saw how dirty the rooms were. We were also told that the elevator could not handle taking more than two people and two bags at a time. The only place within walking distance to get food is a gas station, and the sandwich from there was better than the food at the Saphir. Finally, even though I slept in long sleeves, long pants and socks, I ended up with a rash on my legs and neck that I had to get medication for at our next stop in Switzerland. The noise from the highway meant almost no sleep, too. This place is a disgrace. Degeulasse!!

Room Tip: I would suggest sleeping in your car instead of staying here. It will be cleaner and more comfortab...

“This IS the worst hotel in the world”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

I know I've probably said that before on Trip Advisor, but this is the worst place I have ever been to. Where shall I start.

It's a 70's hotel, thats still in the 70's, that hasn't had a penny spent on it since the 70's.

The whole place is falling apart, from the loose tiles on the stairs, to the horendously tired rooms, to the bar with Boney M playing on loop....

The rooms as awful, they are so so tired, not clean at all, the beds are rock hard. There is no air-con, only a termostat in the rooms that doesn't seem to effect anything...the windows in the rooms don't open, so you can't get any air either.

The bathroom is again painfully tired, as is the reception area.

Breakfast is a joke. Literally a couple of bagettes and a coffee machine.

All in all, not a great stay. You feel dirty and uncomfortable from start to finish and the only time you smile is as you run out of the door on your way home.

Please please please please please don't stay here. Sleep by the side of the road instead. You'll enjoy it more.

PS the Wifi is shocking.

Room Tip: Don't stay here!

“never again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

We stay in this hotel for 2 nights in 9 of July .I booked the stay online, the pictures looked great, swiming pool, sauna lovely gardens. However when we got there looked so different, the sauna and the swiming pool was closed which make us disappointed as the children love the water and was the reason we choose the hotel.I n the first night was difficult to sleep as downstairs was a party/wedding taking place. The staff in the hotel was not nice.In 11 th of JULY before leaving the hotel I asked for room availability for an extra night.I was told they have a room but for a much higher price than I paid initially. So I told receptionist i don`t wanted because is too expensive, still my credit ad was debited for an extra night. So I can say the staff is incompetent as well. For anyone coming tot his hotel be very carefull with your credit card details or you might have to pay like me an extra night just for asking for room availability..MARIA

“Good need more inprovments”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

The Saphir Hotel has not been the nicest hotel i been to, But i have to admit there were allot to do there for kids e.g. free PS3 and free WIF and a indoor pool. The shuttle service to Disney Land Paris needs to be more flexible for people who like ot stay in the park in till late at night. The buffet was very shocking and didn't meet the expetaions they were giving out. It was post to be american buffet but this wasn't it only had two choice of cereal and only a bit of English breakfast and even that wasn't very appetizing. As we got in the room it was very big and had two single beds and one double bed and as we tried to get fresh air the window wont open and the room had a very horrible smell when we got to the room. The shower was very dangouse it moved about everywhere and when you want to turn the tempatuer up it went to etheir too cold or too hot.
If your thinking about gonig Disneyland i realy suggest you book a Disney hotle it self as you will find you will have a better exprince there then coming to the Saphir Hotel
