Hotel Château De Raay is a country estate originating from 1236. The estate served as a convent for nuns until 1999. Tastefully renovated in 2005 the hotel has very comfortable rooms in the old building as well as in the adjacent new wing.

The hotel is in a quiet area next to the woods and a great location if you want to make a bicycle tour. The room was nicely furnished and room and bathroom were impeccably clean. A good but rather soft bed and a Bose wave radio next to the bed. The buffet breakfast was outstanding.

Having dinner in the restaurant is worth the money. The service was excellent, the food very good.

We stayed for 7 nights in this hotel during our summer holiday and it was perfect. Because we stayed a week we had chosen the presidentiil suite which was amazing. The room consisted out of 2 big rooms with a terrace . Big flatscreen tv in one of the rooms, wonderfull bed and the room we had had the Theme: Golf, which was represented in many ways in the room.

We had 3 diners in the restaurant and the service was excellent, the food perfect.
Great location if you want to ride a bike, do some hiking or drive by car to Maastricht, Breda or Germany

This was the second time we went to Château de Raay, and we were not disappointed. The rooms are lovely, and the beds just heaven. What I like most about this hotel is that it is unique, full of little quirky details, which is what gives it its special atmosphere. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner, very tasty. Just back from a fantastic stay. The hotel inside is just pure class. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Well worth the money and would go back there again in the morning.
This place has an impeccable service and great accommodations - not to mention the historical presence. We had a wonderful experience and plan to go back in the near future.
