I stayed here for two nights whilst on business in Merseyside this week and would happily return. It was very welcoming, friendly and comfortable. The rooms were as the name suggests suites and very roomy ! The bed was very comfortable indeed with lovely linen.
The food at breakfast was excellent and the evening meal very good (would like veg a little more well cooked ) but lots of choice and hot when it arrived (service a little slow).
When we asked to be moved to a table out of the draft of the automatic doors, we were taken to a different table and the waitress brought a fan heater ! Top service we thought !
I would have loved to take advantage of the pool but didn't have time sadly.
Everything ran smoothly from the check in (where my friend was offered a smoker's room, (much to her delight!) , the lifts were always free and breakfast service was very efficient.
Overall, a very happy couple of nights away for work.

We stayed for a party night and only paid £59 for the room and breakfast. The rooms are suites with a living room and bedroom area. The bed was super king and very comfortable.

The leisure facilities are great, pool, steam room, sauna and gym.

Staff are very friendly. The breakfast was lovely, a buffet with really good quality ingredients.

We stayed for one night for a visit to family. We received a warm welcome on arrival and was given all the information needed for our stay. We had booked a suite where smoking was allowed - which was the icing on the cake for us as we are both smokers! The suite was perfect in every way and we was both very impressed with the hotel generally and would certainly return there again when visiting family. The location was good for our needs, as it was not far from our family. For some it may not be the ideal location as it on the edge of a industrial estate and very close to the East Lancs Road. When I stayed there in 1988 when it was the Cherry Tree Hotel, it was noisy due to road noise. It was a totally different experience this time, as we could not not hear any noise at all. The bed was extremely comfortable and being a super king bed it was very roomy so we had a really good nights sleep. The suite was spotlessly clean and fresh and very well equpped with all the little extras. Would highly recommend the hotel. We did not use the leisure facilities (pool, gym etc.) as we did not have the time during our stay which was a shame - looked very inviting !

we booked a christmas party at th suites in knowsley.
we paid for 5 course meal but only got 4 i am advised this was a typo?
the food wasnt edible the soup was cold and only had to travel a short distance from the serving area on the dance floor.
the main meal was turkey no other option as previously billed.the turkry was processed meat and the vegetables were hard as rock and once again cold.
the desert however was very nice.
I have sinced complained to the manager of the hotel who seems to be more concerned about the behaviour of some of our party rather than customer service.
we did complain to the manager on the night who reply was "i am sorry you didnt enjoy the food?"
the manager then sent out bottles of wine to each table which when people haven eaten anything just fuels the drunkeness.
i myself was the designated driver therefor i paid £30+ for a meal i couldnt eat not happy.
i would seriously think again if you are booking this hotel for a function and make sure you keep a copy of the menu they promise as this will be changed at will and with no notification...
