We checked into Santorini on a Sunday and as our booking had requested contacted the office a day earlier to organize a self check-in as the office would be closed. It was decided someone would be around, so no need for self check-in. We arrived earlier than expected and would have been quite happy to go off and get some lunch but after a call and a little waiting time were checked in. I can't say it was an entirely welcoming check in but we were checked in. The 2 bedroom ocean view apartment was spacious and the view just beautiful. A couple of minor things such as no tea towel in the kitchen and no toilet paper in main bathroom as well as empty packets which should have contained showercap sewing kit etc. Our booking did state free broadband internet. On reading the Infomation book in room, we needed to obtain a cable from reception --which was closed-- Fee structures could be selected once online, unless you had a voucher. I'm not quite sure if we were to have received a voucher on check-in or not. I booked this hotel based on previous reviews on trip advisor and feel the great service written about was not evident during our stay. In fact we did not see the office manned during our 2 night stay and we dropped the key off in the box before we departed on the Tuesday. In making this statement I do also concede we did not make any phone calls to management to sort out missing amenities or get clarification on internet access. I did not feel comfortable to do so.

My wife and I had 6 nights at the Santorini and loved it so much we're going back again in a few months! We got a great rate on the 2 bedroom penthouse at $150 a night. The view was spectacular and we really enjoyed the private spa on the rooftop. We didn't get a chance to use the BBQ but thats definetly an added bonus. The hotel has also recently installed free internet in some of the rooms.

The only problem with our room was the smell from the Italian leather lounge, but this was quickly fixed by opening the balcony doors (no mosquitoes to be found!)

The hotel is only a short walk across the road and you're at the beach. Mudjimba is a great town to stay in as its not populated by tourists, and yet its only 10 minutes drive down to Mooloolaba and 30-40 mins up to Noosa. The local cafe the Loaded Lizard has great food and drinks and there's a few other good restaurants around.

Thanks to Phillip and Roy for making our stay very comfortable, we'll be back.

Best kept secret on the coast - the Managers, Roy & Phillip, are only too happy to help with any needs. It has a brilliant restaurant on street level "Blue Fish" have great value Friday lunches - 3 courses for $25.
I would recommend this apartment building to all who want a beach holiday - just walk through the park to the beach.

This place is really nice. Had top floor suite 3 bedrooms, 2bathrooms, Roof top has Hot tub and a nice dining table to seat 12. Great location opposite park and beach. Views are spectacular, even saw a whale from balcony. Well priced and quiet location. Convience store located on opposite corner and cafe and restuarants at street level. Don't hesitate if thinking of staying here. A bonus is it's close to the airport about a $10 fare in a taxi.
