Plus; great food, nice rooms, constant hot water and warm room, even in the wintertime. We had a tent and it was serviced with heaters and warm water bottles at night. The staff work hard to keep you occupied; either with walks, documentaries, bonfires, snacks, or general conversation. They have a watch tower which is nice to sit in and look at birds and other wildlife.
Minus: The retreat is right on the edge of the boundary area, which is great for seeing wildlife, but if you want to simply go for a walk outside the retreat territory (which is pretty small), you can't leave without a guide, and sometimes you have to wait for one. We got the two night/three day package, and we couldn't choose the time we wanted the safaris, which was disappointing since we had to pay for them even if we didn't take them. They are doing a lot of construction, which interferes a bit with your relaxation. For example there is a construction fence right by the watch tower and workers are digging ditches while you eat your lunch.
