Corbett Leela Vilas- A place worth staying. Excellent Customer Service right from the beginning itself. Karan- the person who handled our sales query was very courteous and professional. He was very honest also when we asked him about why should we choose CLV over other nearby resorts. No false promises were made. We were given a warm welcome and allowed to have our lunch first and then complete check-in formalities. We were exhausted by the long journey and the buffet lunch was refreshing. The staff was courteous all the times asking each on of us for anything we need. The Cottages are neatly built around the pool. They are tastefully done with each cottage having its own private lawn with beautiful flowers. There is a private sit-out area(patio) for each cottage. The sitting room has its own individual AC with chairs and a couch. The room had LCD TV, Mini-Bar with 2 Bottles of Mineral Water and Soft Drink complimentary per day. The beds were very comfortable with clean linen. The room has wooden floor and full-length windows with matching double layer curtains. The Bathroom was well equipped with shower area and a Jacuzzi. It had all the essential supply of toiletries. The dinner buffet was as good as the lunch. They serve beer on order. There is a recreation room with options like Table Tennis, Snooker and Carrom. The swimming pool is well-placed amongst the garden. There is a sit-out near the Dining area for Tea-coffee.
The only thing that was needed was an Air-Curtain or insect-killer in the Restaurant. The jeep safari was good except that the tiger did not show-up. It would be better to request the hotel for the arranging Dhikala area permit on a gypsy or book yourself for the Canter(16 seater) ride to the Dhikala Area from the Ramnagar office of Corbett Tiger Reserve.
The check-out was as smooth as the check-in. They accept Credit card as well. A perfect place for a comfortable, safe and fun-filled stay along with family. Kids also enjoy. Addition of a play area for tiny-tots will be great.
The experience is worth each rupee spent. Looking forward to visit again and experience the “Luxury in Wilderness”.
