I was told about this hotel by a colleague in India and we booked based on their recommendation and from now on I will be taking all hotel recommendations from that person.

Stunning location, beautifiul rooms (we had a pool room) and first class service by all staff both on safaris and in the hotel...

I could have happily sat in the reading room for hours looking over the kabini River.

Really...the place is done-up with great attention to detail, loads of passion to make your stay most comfortable and memorable. It was my second visit in 2 months and I am ready for more already.

OC's locales are Divine; cozily tucked in the arms of Nagarhole forest and Kabini river. But what makes the place so special is its people...always wearing a warm smile and always willing to go the extra mile for you. Folks at the Front Desk, House Keeping, Restaurant, everybody you meet there will make you feel welcome and special.

I went with my family, including an infant, and we were concerned about food arrangements for the little guy. The staff at the restaurant made it so easy for us. They went
out of the way to cook small portions for him and delivered it our room, on time, thrice a day!

This place might be little expensive for the Indian wallet but its worth it!

We definitely found ourselves cradled in the lap of luxury at kabini.Having visited their property in Coorg we were quite certain of what to expect,and we were not in the least bit let down by the humility and hospitality of the entire staff, right from the GM to the janitor.
It was a surreal feeling on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. The staff pampered us so much it was almost embarassing.Special mention of Ms Jeena who was their right thru our stay and took care of our every little need.
The Jaccuzi Hut was great and spacious,but the temerature of the water in the jaccuzi needs to be regulated.
The boat safari was a more comfortable option than the jeep.The naturalist Venkat was spoton and very knowledgable in this field.The massage at the Vaidyashala was rejuvenating and relaxing.
The Food and the service both were top drawer stuff.
The tribal dance gave us a peek into the Kadu Karuba tribe and its culture.
The only sore thumb in our trip was the condition of the approach road leading upto the resort.The last 10km needs immediate attention by the management .
The GM was kind enough to explain how seriously they are trying to solve the issue and I hope they succeed in their quest for a better road.
All in all we were of the opinion that apart from being a cracker of place the ideology and philosophy is even better. Namaskara ....!!

I stayed in orange county for two nights and it was the best hotel I have ever lived in. Best food, best accommodation, best EVERYTHING.
Two nights was a bit less for the stay. You ought to visit it!!!!
