I with my fmaily visited this place on the 30th and 31st of december 2011 for the new year . The place is absolutely fantastic and has a breathtaking view . something to feast your eyes on . The place is surrounded by nature and is great for walking around . We did a lot of walking when possible as most of 31st it rained .
THe team at Dholes den was one of the best that I have encountered and really very friendly and helpful . All of them are from the local village in keeping with the basics of eco tourism . They have been trained well and do their best to make the guests comfortable .
Some people are not used to the outdoor and really cannot hanlde that much. Just putting on a pair of shorts and T shirt with a sneaker does not make one outdoorsy . These people expect the city to travel with them wherever they go and therefore do not enjoy locations like these in the real sense of the word . ( Am unable to write my comments in the ' Problem with this review' section so am writing here )
Food , comfort , energyconservation , naturalists are all top class . I hope people who really like nature and conservation visit this place . do go there if you want peace and quiet along with fresh air and a breath taking view .
Do not go there if you are looking at Gobi Manchurian , Fried rice , and pedas . Or loud music and sit coms on tv in the evening .
Room Tip: go for the cottages . great open air bath out there
