We chose this place after checking other hotel options in Switzerland, and looked like it was one of the lesser priced, though not cheap, places to stay. It is well-equipped to handle large tour bus parties, and one had arrived as we were checking in. There appeared to be only one woman available, though it appeared there were two reception stations. We were given an upper level room with a view of the surrounding fields. The room had a king size bed that had separate sleeping controls, the head and feet rests were adjustable (NICE), and the down comforter was soooo cozy. It made for a great sleep. There was a flat screen t.v... and it was set up for wifi - at a price, however! I liked the separate toilet and round shower enclosure - no bathtub. I loved the adjustable light fixtures on each side of the bed and the desk. The separated paneling of the wood floor and the textured floor of the bathroom were smart and efficient. The use of materials was what you would find in a first rate hotel, I think. There is a convenience store which sold groceries, in addition to souvenirs, and also another section for more gourmet choice-type products. Also there was a McDonalds, and an italian eatery next door. We ate at the Italian eatery for dinner. Everything in Switzerland is pricey, you know, but the salad I ordered was fresh and tasty, and I would order it again if I could! Check on the type of credit cards the restaurant takes, though, as I think they did not take Visa or A/E, but they did take M/C! We had breakfast in McDonalds. Standard. Large parking lot in front of the hotel. Overall, it was a good experience: I got a very quiet, restful sleep in a clean, efficient room!
