“Huge and very clean hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2010

Although not centrally located, it is very much near my business interests and so ideal to stay in since it's quite cheap in respect to the service provided. The staff is ok, the rooms super clean and spacious and most of them come with kitchen and sofa, like an aparthotel. The area is safe and there is not a lot of noise in the area. I would suggest this hotel if you intend not to stay much in the city centre but would also like to visit the other cities in the area.

“Good Hotels for Group”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2010

The rates are very good for this hotel, so I would suggest mainly for groups. It's just 30 minutes from Milan and a good location to visit other cities.

“Dirty and ugly”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2010

I stayed at this establishment for one night as part of a group tour. Everything most other reviewers say is true. First of all, what seems to have once been the actual hotel is non-operational. The functioning hotel is actually a residence. I think I can qualify it as the worst hotel I have ever been at.
1) It is located in what seems to be a rather run-down residential area, I fo
2) The "reception" area consists of a long, ugly, empty corridor, with faded sofas and full of mosquitoes.
3) Out of 4 elevators, only one seemed to be working. There may have been other elevators somewhere else, not sure.
4) The doors were brown, ugly, and dented.
5) We had what you might call a "suite" with plenty of cupboard space, a microwave oven, and a fridge. This is really because it is, as I have mentioned above, a hotel and residence. But the wallpaper was dirty, torn in parts, and there was a big reddish stain in one part of it - I would have felt sick to eat in there.
6) As we wanted to go out on the balcony, we discovered a huge cobweb clinging to the balcony door hinge, so we gave up going on the balcony at all.
7) No carpet on the floor.
8) There was a species of ants all over the furniture.
9) The furniture seemed quite new, but it was dark and, together with the ugly, striped wallpaper, gave a rather sinister look to the entire room.
10) There was an unpleasant smell all over.
11) The bathroom was fairly clean, although I did notice what I believe was a mosquito in the shower (which I would have ignored, had not everything else been so uninviting)and the toilet had been decontaminated. The towels were big and clean, but there were some holes in them (which again, would have been an unimportant detail but for the other circumstances).
13) The shower is very small, I have a small frame but I wondered how a bigger person would cope. I know this is acceptable for Italy, but I've seen better than this in Italy itself.\
14) I could hear every detail of conversation from the adjacent suite.
15)) We had half board. Dinner was reasonable, and so was breakfast, but we had to use plastic forks for breakfast.
I think you get the picture,
Don't stay there.

“Unpleasant, inconvenient location, dirty & bad value”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2009

From the start, it was a challenging experience. The shuttles from Milan did not follow the schedule on the website and after waiting for 1 hour, I ended up getting a taxi. The location is very far from anything and in a 'no man's land'. The room was fine, although some colleagues' rooms were very cold. The food prepared for the congress was very bad value for money and extremely poor quality. There were dust bunnies in the hallways and the hotel was not very clean. There is nothing to recommend about this hotel.

“Avoid!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2009

As the previous reviewer noted, this hotel is not open currently, but they have a "Residence" property nearby where your reservation is magically in their system. Unmagically, they let you book a room at "Due" at the Due price, then you keep that rate when you check into the exceptionally crappy Residence because you're so far out of town by then - and frustrated that you showed up to a non-operational hotel- that you have lost any fight. It's the worse place you can imagine. When I checked in, they sent me to a room that hadn't been cleaned (it was 12:30 in the morning). As I was making my way back to the desk to ask for a different, clean room, I passed my colleague who had checked in right before me. She was also sent to a filthy room. And the same thing happened to the guy behind me. When I got to my second room, it was still wet from housecleaning who were in the hallway. At least it had been picked up! These places have full kitchens and weird bathrooms. It feels like a combination of a youth hostel and a dorm room.
