Hola! I stayed here for two weeks in December 2004 and two MONTHS in 2005. I can probably tell you more about this hotel than anyone else: front desk personnel speak darn good english. Free shuttle (van) service within a few miles of hotel to Escobedo airport, restaurants, shopping center. Not free to downtown, you have to take a taxi. VERY reliable, high-speed internet, wired and wireless work great. ROOMY living space: desk, sofa, king bed. Not sure if all rooms are like this or not. Because of my extended stay, I was able to get a refrigerator in my room. Top-notch breakfast and lunch IN hotel. Mexican restaurant adjacent and connected to hotel. Several other restaurants and 7-11 convenience store are in walking distance. Currency exchange from dollars to pesos at front desk. Housekeeping, laundry, grounds, courtyard and pool areas are, in my opinion, world-class. Very SECURE property in northern Apodaca (suburb of Monterrey). There would be no better place to stay if the hotel was only about 15 more miles closer to the center city. Feel free to ask any questions if my email appears above. I can advise on shopping, sightseeing, taxis, and prices of things here. In this immediate area are Courtyard, Hampton Inn, and Fairfield Inn. Courtyard is the best of the three but 50-70% more expensive - YIKES! You may like one of the others for a brief visit, but to me the extra rate is worth it for an extended stay. But then again, my company paid the bill! You WILL need to speak some Spanish outside of this area, so be warned.
