This is an average hotel, close to the airport and seems to be reasonably safe. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and a 7-11 next to the hotel. I thought the rooms were a bit dated, and mine had a view of a brick wall, I expected a little better room as a Marriott platinum member.

This is a good hotel for business trips, as it is clean, next to airport and most of industrial parks. it has very decent breakfast for a reasonable price. Service is extremelly good, people is nice always willing to help with a smile. The free shuttle to most industrial destinations and airport is a plus. With a very reasonable corporate rate, I will most definitely recommend this hotel for business trips in Monterrey. Now, if yours is a leisure trip, this is very far away from downtow and any possible atraction in this city, so not for you. Hope it helps.

This hotel was ok. In a safe location with some restaurants around. My only issue was that we were without hot water for 2 days. For 2 days, the shower was cold. They must've fixed something the day after because it was hot again. But, no notice as to it being cold and the resolution. The bar is ok as there are people there in the evening. Breakfast was good and you can get eggs cooked to order. If I were in the area, i would probably stay again as I'm hoping the hot water issue was a one-time thing. It is quite a distance from downtown Monterrey, but very close to the airport. Very close (in) Apodaca where a lot of companies are located. Beds were average.

Stayed one night before my flight home to the US the next morning. Excellent Courtyard, everything you would expect from Marriott. Very "Americanized". Only 2 comments:

- The first room they gave me reeked of cigarette smoke, although the hotel is 100% smoke free. Had to return to the front desk to get a different room.
- The wait at the airport for the courtesy van was long (25 minutes). I eventually got a ride from the Fairfield Inn van (located next to the Courtyard). So, jump into whichever van you see first (Fairfield or Courtyard). I think the problem was that the van is also used to transport guests to/from nearby companies.

Plenty of places to eat nearby. If you want to go into the center of Monterrey (Macroplaza), the ride is about 20-25 minutes without traffic and 160 pesos ($12-13 USD) plus tip.
