With a goal of finding good snow, I focused on the Jungfrau Region. Finding almost all hotels booked in Grindelwald, I turned to the Interlaken area and found this hotel on Trip Advisor. All reviews are very accurate. For a skier, the doorstep pick-up at 0855 in the morning and return in the evening are invaluable. Even if you miss the bus (oops!), in a pinch you can still take the train back from Grindelwald to Wilderswil and walk the .5 km back to the hotel (make sure you have cat tracks or some type of ski boot covers). The breakfast is typical of Switzerland. While I did not get the half pension, I now think that would have been a better call than foraging on my own. As other writers have noted, Switzerland is very expensive.
