We had a short break here and found the staff very helpful. Our room was very clean and spacious. The lounge with its views of the sea was a lovely place to relax. Breakfast was particulary good. We hadn't booked full board but ended up eating all our meals here as they were great value.

We have vowed to return here.

We have just returned from yet another great weekend break at the Sandy Cove Hotel.
The views are stunning and always worth booking a sea view room. Everyone very welcoming. Staff worked tirelessly to make our stay very comfortable. Food as always top class. The Saturday Grill beat us though, just couldn't manage dessert!! We are looking forward to returning when the extension is complete.

We've stayed here 3 or 4 times now and always had a very good reception. The rooms are excellent really clean and modern. We always have a sea view room which is well worth it as the views are fabulous and on a clear you can see right across to Wales. The food is excellent, the young male chef is obviously very talented. The bonus is the swimming pool which is also very clean. A first class hotel which we will keep returning to.

A wonderful few days break over the festive period. Spacious bedroom overlooking sea - cleaned to perfection! The food was stunning - top quality menu, creative and excellently presented - only angst - apart from there being too much food!!!!! was that we did not see much in the way of salad / veg.
Beautiful setting and attractive gardens. Spacious and comfortable restaurant - some tables with great sea views. Adjoining lounge area with gas flame effect fires- not quite enough seating however - so first come first sit!
Fruit and nuts provided for guests in lounge area - thoughtful touch. We were surprised at the absence of hosts/managers/owners, they were certainly not in attendance at the welcome drinks although did organise the horse racing/roulette/bingo. Would have been appreciated by some of us if they had been more hands on / welcoming / proactive with guests. The staff in the hotel departments however were excellent in every way and a testament to their dedication and commitment that everything ran so smoothly and with such attentiveness. Cant wait to return - Highly recommended.
