we went for a 2 day trip to celebrate my birthday. The new owners (Gill and Andy) could not have been more friendly. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms, which was called the GOLD room. WOW, what can i say. Looked like a top London hotel room, without the price of London. Fantastic. The rooms are spotless and the bathroom has also been newly fitted. The view from the window was lovelly, open country fields and hills. The village is very friendly. We joined in the local quiz night and the locals were lovely and a good time was had by everyone. The breakfast is wonderful and the service, carnt do enough for you. Coffee and tea on tap ! If you want anything you only have to ask. The new owners are also preparing for cream teas in the afternoon, carnt wait. Came as guests and left as friends !!!! we will be returning soon.
