We stayed there for two nights in Dec and enjoyed the stay. It was the low season for the hotel and almost all water activities were closed. However, you would still get the unobstructed stunning view from almost everywhere in the hotel.
The room was spacious, modern, well kept and very clean even in Japanese standard. Breakfast was nice and they have ample parking space. Do rent a car if you wish to stay there - it's a 5 min drive from outside hotel lobby to the main gate along an upward slope.
Free broadband in-room and wifi in public area and restaurants. Token self-laundry facilities available which I can imagine would be very much needed during summer. The public bath was a nice add in winter. Facilities are generally good though we didnt get to try any water activities.
The only unpleasant thing happened durng check out when the reception staff told us that we had to pay extra for an extra bed for our kid, which was not what their reservation office told me when I made the reservation online specifying 2 adults and 1 9-y-o kid. I had to request speaking to a Manager who after reviewing my confirmation voucher immediately told me that no charge would be imposed this time.
All in all, it's a nice hotel.
