“Good hotel for families visiting Okinawa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

Family stayed there unexpectedly after the Earthquake. Beautiful beach and plenty of activities for the children even in offseason. The service was very good but the hotel is a little old and needs some updating. It was a great retreat for an emergency vacation and would visit again.
Expensive for hotel I would consider mid-tier but it is Japan and in yen.

“great service, nice room, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Stayed here for five nights at Christmas. The hotel was very nice, the rooms was clean and comfortable with great views. Far from Naha but in a good mid-island location (you pretty much have to have a rental car) with a beautiful coastline. Some staff speaks English, some do not, but the service was fantastic. Well decorated for Christmas, plus Santa visited and there were Christmas carols in the lobby (some good, some not so--my only real complaint was that the acoustics of the lobby made the music a little loud in our room). We would definately return and recommend!

“Most Modern in Okinawa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2011 via mobile

The resort is located on Cape Manza and in the midst of the Onna-son resort strip. It overlooks the spectacular cliffs of Manza-mo and must be the resort with the most picturesque setting.
Resort is shaped like a ship with a soaring atrium with a light and fresh decor which instantly sets the holiday mood and tone. Rooms are also trendy and fresh.
Will definitely return.

“Resort feel - Japanese style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

This Hotel has a classy, modern feel about it from the moment you enter the foyer. It is beautifully positioned amongst leafy gardens & on a lovely beach/ocean. Numerous activities are offered...water sports, restaurants & shows. Our package also included some meal vouchers & various sightseeing offers such as the starlight cruise across the bay which left from within the Hotel grounds.
As expected the staff were pleasant, helpful, professional & spoke good English.
Valet parking is included, so from the moment you arrive you are welcomed & directed to check-in, which was quick & easy. Staff then escorted you personally, directly to the room. The public areas of the hotel are impressive & even include little market stalls in the mornings & a nice souvenir store
The room we stayed in was quite spacious, decorated in a resorty theme, and well appointed. The bathroom had a nice louvered window that you could open to give a view of the ocean from the bath if you wished. All the toiletries, linen & towels were of a good quality. Internet connections was available in the room.
The view was probably the most special aspect of the room, although there was definitely a wow factor when you first walked in.
We ate at the restaurant for breakfast each day which had a lovely view of the pool & beach area....sometimes a bit of a lineup to get a table in the peak times. The western selections were larger than we had had at other Japanese hotels & were always being topped up.
We had dinner at The Orchid Room one night which offered a large buffet style meal...numerous selections with an Okinawan influence. The meal also included a cabaret show which highlighted Okinawan culture with dance, music, drums etc. Well worth watching!
As with all accommodation on Okinawa, a rental car is an absolute must. We were lucky to be travelling with a Japanese friend so navigating this island & all it's wonderful sightseeing spots was fairly easy (the cars are all equipped with GPS with English options so I don't believe that would be too much of a problem if you took your time & organised your choices.....all the touristy things do seem to be well spread out across Okinawa mainly away from the airport area in Naha)
Our whole stay in Okinawa was a wonderful surprise..starting with this beautiful resort.

“Great location in Okinawa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2011

We stayed there for 5 nights in October. The hotel is well located; not too far from the airport, but already outside the not so lovely sight of downtown Naha. Definitely a rental car is a must, but driving in Okinawa is absolutely no problem. The hotel has a nice modern look, is well maintained and the staff is very helpful. Of course there are the occasional language barriers, as everywhere in japan, but the way this is handled by the staff is perfect. The rooms have a decent size and a nice view. Nothing to complain. The dinner options in the hotel are a bit pricey, but in particular the Japanese restaurant is very recommended. Their Teppenyaki is perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Beach view was a ggod option to have the sunset view.
