This Hotel has a classy, modern feel about it from the moment you enter the foyer. It is beautifully positioned amongst leafy gardens & on a lovely beach/ocean. Numerous activities are offered...water sports, restaurants & shows. Our package also included some meal vouchers & various sightseeing offers such as the starlight cruise across the bay which left from within the Hotel grounds.
As expected the staff were pleasant, helpful, professional & spoke good English.
Valet parking is included, so from the moment you arrive you are welcomed & directed to check-in, which was quick & easy. Staff then escorted you personally, directly to the room. The public areas of the hotel are impressive & even include little market stalls in the mornings & a nice souvenir store
The room we stayed in was quite spacious, decorated in a resorty theme, and well appointed. The bathroom had a nice louvered window that you could open to give a view of the ocean from the bath if you wished. All the toiletries, linen & towels were of a good quality. Internet connections was available in the room.
The view was probably the most special aspect of the room, although there was definitely a wow factor when you first walked in.
We ate at the restaurant for breakfast each day which had a lovely view of the pool & beach area....sometimes a bit of a lineup to get a table in the peak times. The western selections were larger than we had had at other Japanese hotels & were always being topped up.
We had dinner at The Orchid Room one night which offered a large buffet style meal...numerous selections with an Okinawan influence. The meal also included a cabaret show which highlighted Okinawan culture with dance, music, drums etc. Well worth watching!
As with all accommodation on Okinawa, a rental car is an absolute must. We were lucky to be travelling with a Japanese friend so navigating this island & all it's wonderful sightseeing spots was fairly easy (the cars are all equipped with GPS with English options so I don't believe that would be too much of a problem if you took your time & organised your choices.....all the touristy things do seem to be well spread out across Okinawa mainly away from the airport area in Naha)
Our whole stay in Okinawa was a wonderful surprise..starting with this beautiful resort.
