after a long train trip from England and 3 days in Fez followed by another train trip this was exactly what we needed. Friendly faces, amazing home cooked food and warm comfortable rooms. We were made to feel right at home, we didn't do much as the idea was to unwind but we never grew tired of gazing at the mountains or strolling around the gardens. We had planned to go on a trip in to the mountains on our 2nd day to vist a Burbur tribe and see some pottery works but unfortunatly rain put pay to that and we hadn't come prepared - oh well another relaxing day reading and eating what a shame!
There are a variety of trips you can choose from or just chillout and learn how to cook moroccon food.
The kasbar itself is beautiful and a real credit to the owners who had it built from scratch - really simply decorated with a warmth and style that makes you feel like you are staying in a rustic palace - highly recommended
