My friends and I stayed here for one night during our tour of Europe on motorbikes. We booked the hotel through booked.com and got a deal which included our evening meal. On arriving at the hotel check in was quick and simple the room we stayed in was lovely with great views of the Alps. It was spacious with comfy beds and additional pillows. it also contained two bunk beds in a separate part of the room which would be great for families. The bathroom was very modern and clean with a fabulous shower and plenty of hot water. The entertainment in the bar area was dire and we would have had a better night had there not been any as it was hard to hold a conversation over the noise. The veranda off the bar was lovely with comfy seating but unfortunately whilst we were sat drinking our wines the staff came and took the cushions off us and it was only 23.00hrs. Now for the meal firstly the dining room was very noisy and extremely hot. We were shown to our table by a very nice waitress who gave us our set menu which had no options. It consisted of gazpacho, fish gnocchi style then fruit. This was unsuitable for all of our party so we booked from the a la carte. The waiter who came to take our order was not so helpful I asked for the vegetarian option he basically said there wasn't one but I could have the house salad as this was my only option I ordered it only to find it was a bowl of lettuce leaves with grapefruit. It had no dressing on it and I found the leaves to be bitter. After explaining how disappointed I was, he basically didn't seem to care. The rest of the people in my party had excellent food they would recommend the burger which was served with a small salad which had a wonderful lemon dressing on it and fries. When I refused to pay for my salad no one bothered as they knew. On checking out the following morning though as we had booked a packaged with booking.com as no one had eaten from the set menu they wouldn't deduct the cost of the set meal against what we had spent in the restaurant so it cost us twice as much therefore I would recommend only paying for bed and breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of everything. Even having small teapots in which to make your tea.
