Food was fabulous with a very inventive menu. The whole group enjoyed the meal! Thanks to the staff for making It a great birthday

Just had an overnight stay at the White Lion. Weston (near Crewe) and what a find! Five minutes from the M6 but in beautiful quiet village. Quaint bar with timbered walls, restaurant with 1st class food (not standard pub fare) and quiet bedrooms away from the function room, restaurant and bar. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend it!

I have stayed in many hotels on many business trips but none that offered as many facilities and friendly staff as the white lion.

I arrived in the morning and was greeted by the new staff that was extremely friendly and even went out of there way to provide me with Digital TV which was not even stated was included before my arrival.

The room was very tidy and the look and feel of the hotel was very homely. The bar area sold a large number of drinks and the best was yet to come!

The FOOD! what can i say. The food was not expected to be as good as it was as I am quite fussy but I was very surprised. All tho the restaurant area was only small the food tasted like I was in an uptown restaurant. This was also the comments i recieved after speaking to other guests staying here.

All in all very impressed and would definately stay here again!

Spent one night here. The bar, snug and dining room are very
pleasant. The beds are very comfortable. The ensuite in our room,
and I overheard the same discription, at breakfast, was tiny, When useing the wash basin you couldnt shut the door. Barely adequate
would be the proper discription. Food was good to very good, with pleasant staff. Do not book on the phone as you will end up paying
£ 10 more than the e booked rate . Which I think is a ripoff, as the phone is answered in the bar and does not require a receptionist.
