We booked this room as it was the only hotel room still available in the area at the date that we needed. The hotel is situated in a small village but by a very busy road, the cars pass all night.
The room was shabby to say the least. The sheets were clean but really old and worn. The matrass was a disaster, no way anyone can sleep well in a bed like that!!!
The only good thing I can say for the bathroom is that there was warm water.
When the neighbours use their bathroom you will hear it as if it is in your own room!
The breakfast was ok.
So if you still decide to go there... you have been warned.

We booked tis hotel by internet, but arriving there was pure disappointment:
- The location is at a highly frequend road before a rock wall: Therefore, traffic noise is not only on the frontsside, but as reflection on the back, too.
- The windows are old, contained only simple glass panes and provided by now means any noise protection.
- The furniture is old, dusty and partly primitive.
- The stares are so small and steep, that older people have difficulties to go to the 2nd floor, and young people hardly get the luggage to the rooms.

In conclusion, for what it is the price was too high. We finally got a better (and quieter) hotel 7 km from there to the south (in Harze), paying a second time.

we did not stay in the hotel only book the restaurant and the service was really a shame, uneducated, dirty and if somebody wanted to kill this well known and old place the owners cannot do better, less remarks about the food. Example : flies in a porto glass, the wife of the owner takes it out of the glass in front of my guess!!!!!Another one our wives were in the smoking area when the food arrives and were not called back before and so on

I would like to add my comment in the Guest reviews according to Hostellerie Villa Des Roses 4, Avenue De La Liberation, 4920 Aywaille, Belgium.
It was our mistake to visit this hostellerie. Never again! Ever!
Did you ever go to bathroom inside of dressing cupboard? Or WC in dressing cupboard? You can do it in Villa Des Roses. But first you search for a long time for this.
Prices for these rooms are the same as for normal rooms, with difference that in normal room you can have bad smell of sewerage.
We booked our weekend month’s before, paid in advance and we received instead such… Punishment for us was because we came later – it was explanation of manager.
Who did give 3 stars for this stall? Service – very bad, food – bad, rooms – stink, without normal facilities.
In your website is info that only 9 rooms are available. How can you put 30 persons in 9 rooms? Is it not a question? Rooms are not for living. Maybe only 9 are good, but others are not ready.
