One gets to taste the real authentic India here - untouched by the fast pace and ills of urban life that has gripped metropolitan India. We spent a couple of weeks de-toxing in a lovely little nature cure centre near Mandvi (Navjivan Nature Cure Centre) as part of our family holiday in India.

pros:
- really good value for money
- very friendly staff
- excellent authentic Gujarati food (even though you’re on a diet)
- accommodation in lovely little cottages (but bring your own toilet paper)
- great atmosphere created by other guests

cons:
- a bit of a trek getting there - there are limited flights to Bhuj, and then about an hour car ride
- although good for basics, the yoga classes at the centre were not challenging enough if you’re used to doing yoga in the west …
