“Perfect place to stay if its impossible to confuse you.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2011

Rooms are good, nice views, good service. The location is good if you have a car. Its also important to have good shoes. But people there are nice. Beware the steep cliffs and walk on the stone path. And be careful when driving. The area is confusing. Otherwise its a very good place.

To be happy in such a place one has to trust oneself. But the service is excellent. And the staff are good people. If you are nice to them, they will help you.

Be aware the porn music at mid day. And drive carefully and trust yourself. Otherwise it is the perfect place for a good vacation. And they have really made an effort to make it a good place. And if you dont fight with them people there are really nice.

“Great location above the mediterranean...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2010

This condo resort / time share / hotel is located marvelously in a little community on the rocky cliffs above the mediterranean sea half way between Benidorm and Alicante, about a 20min drive each way. Our suite had windows and balcony out to the inner courtyard with the pool, but one could still see the whole bay over the roofs. The suit was spacious and comfortable, but although quite new, lacked cleanliness. The same can be said of the complex, a lot of shine to the outside, but paint comming off the walls in the car park and back side structures.

“Amazing resort”

We are a couple that loves to travel around Spain discovering amazing places and this time we found one really really Amazing! Believe me...we spent a week at Pueblo Acantilado and we enjoyed it. The apartments were quite large and spacious with stunning sea views. The service that we hired was an apartment service, so that the cleaning was not every day, but enough for us. The staff was charming and has greatly helped us during our stay. The restaurant service was great. We do not understand the last critical because we had full board and we ate dinner every day and supper. We loved and no doubt will repeat. We match a 10 to this resort. Brilliant!

“Perfect Wedding Day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2010

We had our wedding here in November this year. The hotel staff could not do enough to make our day perfect. Emilio, the events organiser and all the staff were without fault. We had lots of family staying in the hotel for a week, all of whom had an fantastic time and thoroughly impressed with the rooms, setting and food .
If anyone is looking to get married in Spain this venue will not disappoint. We can't wait to stay in the bridal suite on our anniversary next year.

“Such a disappointment...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2010

Bitterly disappointed in this hotel after a week's stay. It has such potential to be a true 4 star hotel, however falls short in all areas. The previous review is correct - DO NOT EAT HERE, as all the meals are pre-preoared and frozen, and the chef fails to heat them through fully, leaving you open to food poisoning. The Costa Blanca is renowned for fresh food, so it is unbelievable that this hotel serves up frozen, sub standard food such what i ate. After two nights of this, i decided to try the local cuisine in nerby El Campello, and then Benidorm. The problem with this is, as i had no car, i was reliant on public transport, which is nigh on impossible. The Tram runs fairly frequently, approx 30-50mins in both directions, however is a good 2km plus away from the hotel up and down steep hills - not suitable for anyone but the very fit! Taxis must come from Alicant, and charge you for transit as well as your fare, and there is a bus which last returns to the hotel at 7pm - no-one eats dinner this early! It si at least 15 euros to El Campello, and you must ring a taxi.
The rooms are only serviced every third day which means in a week long stay, i only had this once - and it was simply change of sheets and towels, no cleaning, and no toilet paper restock! Not impressed. The rooms are noisy adn you can easily hear the neighbours and the cleaning staff outside.
Staff are hazy in their sharing of local knowledge with you, only on the third day did i manage to get a bus timetable, and complaints about the restaurant and food issues fell on deaf ears. The managers reply is simply "these things happen."
Do yourself a favour, look past the cheap rate and spend the extra 20euros on a more decent hotel closer to one of the other towns where you wont have this problem!
