“Keith & Eileen are Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

We spent an afternoon and evening with Keith & Eileen, owners of the Lilac Inn B&B in Glovertown. We had a very comfortable room in a lovely place. Talked at some length with Keith who is a transplant from England. He told us a very romantic story of his and Eileen's meeting and subsequent marriage. The breakfast was excellent. One problem, definitely not a major one, is that Glovertown is a bit off the beaten track and has no restaurants. But Keith rec ommended a nice place about fifteen miles away, which we enjoyed.

“A house with character”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

We stayed with Keith for a night in September. Keith was very welcoming on our arrival and provided great advice about the area to help make our stay as very enjoyable.

The house itself has a lot of character and Keith has nicely decorated it. The breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Urban dwellers might not know how to use the original cast iron tub in the one room, but you learn fast :).

The grounds and room were gorgeous. We stayed in Suzie's room had a huge patio all to ourselves. Keith and Eileen were very accomodating and friendly. Our breakfast was made to order at our convenience. The bathroom was huge! Great value, we'll be staying there again.

Room Tip: Susie's room was spacious and beautiful

“Beautiful Lilac Inn B & B in lovely Glovertown, Newfoundland!”

The Lilac Inn B & B is so beautiful. The outside alone is stunning. Beautiful gardens, a beautiful little waterfall and stream, a lovely wrap around porch to sit outside. Very welcoming. Inside is twice as nice. Beautifully decorated with many antique pieces. Immaculate. While in Glovertown, The Lilac Inn B & B is the place to stay. Its owned and operated by Keith who is the perfect host. Very nice person with a great sense of humour! He makes you feel right at home! Walking distance to fine dining, clubs, a lovely harbour and much much more. Lovely spot. We loved it and we will definitely return!

Room Tip: Book in advance.

We stayed at the Lilac Inn for two nights. It was very comfortable with an old fashioned feel. We really enjoyed Keith’s stories and advice along with the hospitality.
