We stayed at the Lilac Inn for two nights. It was very comfortable with an old fashioned feel. We really enjoyed Keith’s stories and advice along with the hospitality.

Of all the places we stayed in Newfoundland on our 2 week holiday, this was the place that i would without hesitation recommend to family / friends! We only stayed one night, on a stop on our journey from St Johns to Gros Morne, but we were delighted with our find. They own a gorgeous home, meticulously decorated and kept. Our en suite was almost as big as our room! Keith was a lovely host and his tips on where to eat were great. We also walked around the lovely nearby Ken Diamond Memorial Park and went to the Glovertown museum and an art gallery at his recommendation. Breakfast was delicious, in fact I find it really hard to fault the place!

Keith gave us directions and we found his home with no problem... he was waiting outside and escorted us in. Lovely old home with tons of character and great antiques and objets d'art. Our bedroom had a balcony overlooking the front garden and a bathroom that I took a photo of as it was so big and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and unique and Keith chatted with us all morning, keeping us entertained and appreciative of his time. Thanks for the hangar, Keith... we'll always remember your beautiful home and your hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully refurbished heritage home. Keith was a great host, and provided us with information about the area. We stayed in "Sarah's room" -- nicely decorated, and comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful -- nicely presented, and very tasty. We would recommend this B&B, and hope to stay there again on our next trip.
