We won a night here, otherwise, I don't think we would have ever chosen it. It's slightly bizarre, and really is in the middle of nowhere, but it has a kind of charm I think! It's a very old building and badly needs some updating, but it's fine, it was clean and was as good as it could be with how old the building is. The place is run by a French (we think!) family, they are very quiet and unintrusive, almost shy. Their little girl wants to do everything, she was trying to pull us a pint at the bar! The reception and bar are unmanned unless you ring the bell, and then they obviously just pop down from their living area. I think when we were there, there was only another 2 guests. Its really out of the way, and the village has a pub, a Spar, a police station and an Indian, that's it. The Indian was lovely, we were the only ones in there, of course, and walking around, we didnt see a soul or a car! We found a lovely walk down to the beach, near a caravan park, and not a soul there either! We were pleasantly surprised at how much we liked it, but there really is "nuffin in Nefyn" - our catchphrase for the weekend!
