Stayed on the 21st May prior to flight from Stanstead. Great location only 10 minutes from Airport.
The breakfast was good and a lift to and from the airport was provided.
We were able to leave our car whilst we were away for a small charge.
The owners were very helpful and I would recommend this hotel .

I stayed in Stansted Lodge earlier this year, the shuttle service at the b & b was good. I was collected on time the next morning and taking to the airport and also provided with a lunch for my travel. My only problem was the room, it was not clean, the lady who took me to the room even commented "hum the room is not really clean, she looked to inspect the floor and said maybe i have another room" and then replied it's ok and let me sleep in the room. The carpet was dirty and the room was extremely small with everything close together. Literally the enclosed shower was at the end of the bed. Not a pleasant stay for me at all. It is a pity because the rest of the service was very good. But cleanliness should be of paramount importance to the owners of this b&b. I travel to and from London quite a lot throughout the year and was hoping this place would have been ideal for my overnight stops. Unfortunately not! Disappointed.

I would reccomend a stay at Stansted Lodge. We stayed there for a few days and we enjoyed our stay as the staff was very helpul. We had a nice room with a very comfortable bed.Free transfers from and to the airport are very good.

We stayed here after missing our flight and this bnb was recommended by the airport hotel booking service. The only positive about this place is that they pick you up and drop you back to the airport. The rooms were below average, with flimsy curtains that let the street light in, the bathroom was mouldy, and the breakfast was a make your own toast and get your own cup of tea affair. We were woken during the night with drunken men walking up and down the street and a drunken guest trying to get into our room. I have stayed in hostels that are better equipped and more comfortable than this bnb. Their prices do not reflect the service as they take advantage of the captive market. I would find somewhere else to stay.
