We stayed late August for our anniversary. Staff was absolutely WONDERFUL and made us feel very welcome. Our room was a large king bed room with a great view of the grounds. We loved having tea in our room and looking out the window....felt like we were in our own manor house. Breakfast was a large buffet plus an to order menu and tasted great. There were nice rooms off the lobby filled with antiques to sit and read the paper in and tables outside. We had two nights but would have liked longer. We enjoyed being out of the city however it was a drive to get to the tourist places in Galway that we wanted to visit from the hotel. Truly enjoyable stay...would love to return.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend in October with my girlfriend. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere. On arrival we had afternoon tea which was very enjoyable. Our room and bed were huge. I can not say enough good things with regards the breakfast. Reasonably close to Galway city. About €10 in a taxi.

From the moment we got there our stay was great! The staff greeted us at the door , we were late checking in and really seems happy to see us and knew we arrived safe. The travel agent made a mistake about the type of rooms needed but the reception staff quickly took care of the problem. The food and service was truly 5 star. The property is beautiful.

Great experience. Staff helpful, lovely setting. We were upgraded without even asking. Breakfast one of the best anywhere.
