“Wonderful Spa break in Fabulous Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

My daughter and I have just returned from our spa break at Ardencotte Manor Hotel & Spa Claverdon near Warwick and it was Fabulous. On arrival the receptionist was not the friendliest however our hotel room was perfect, spotlessly clean with good tea/coffee facilities. We were able to check in earlier than it stated when we booked which was a bonus. We were booked in to the restaurant for our evening meal and the meal was exceptionally good with very good choices on offer, all the food was very well presented and service was faultless. Breakfast the next morning was okay but the English breakfast was not really as hot as I would have liked and like all hotel breakfast we had to wait for more fried eggs to be prepared.
Now the Spa - absolutely wonderful . we experienced the Reflexology.head massage, facial body wrap and manicure. All the treatment were great and on time. The pool and hot tub were great to use between our treatments. The cafe offered a good menu at lunchtime with a great coffee. All the Spa staff were lovely and as a treat we had eyelash extensions applied which took 20 minutes - they looked fab.
This break was a birthday gift from my husband and with all the treatments was very expensive but worth it! Would love to visit again in the future.

“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was large, plenty of space and clean. Breakfast was a good standard. I ate in the bar for one evening and was disappointed with the choice and quality of food, especially for the price. While I was ordering the bar staff were talking about the reception staff and the lack of organisation which I find a little unprofessional.

On the whole this is a nice hotel and it was good value for money (apart from the evening meal).

Dear Guest,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your recent feedback.

I was delighted to read that you enjoyed the majority of your time at the Ardencote Manor Hotel . With regards to your comments on your evening meal I would like to advise that we have 3 Restaurants onsite and the Leisure Bar is aimed at guests looking for a lighter option, as this has a reduced menu. The Lodge Restaurant would have perhaps been more suited to your requirements, as it is has a very extensive menu.

Kind regards,

Azhar Mian

“Family Party”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

We stayed at Ardencote for a family members 40th birthday party. I think the fact that the birthday boy and his family travelled from their home in America and chose Ardencote to hold his party at speaks volumes. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left nothing was too much trouble. The staff were amazing, rooms were fab, facilities awesome and the food was divine. Would definately return. 10/10

“Michelin Starred Dinner, Spa treatment and overnight for two - brilliant deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

My fella purchased this for my birthday via a deal online, so we got it half price. We were planning to go to Warwick the day after for a look around, after our treatments.

We got there early afternoon, as I was hoping to have my treatment on arrival - they said they could only do the next day after 10 which scuppered the plans a little. So we went to the gym and sauna for a bit to pass time until dinner. I had venison and it was sublime.

Dinner in the michelin starred restaurant was fabulous, and was paid for as part of the deal. The wine was lovely and we went and sat in the hotel bar after that and had a lovely night chatting to others and enjoying ourselves.

Breakfast was full cooked as well as cereals and juices etc, and was in the conservatory. I felt a bit delicate but it was tasty (although not last nights chef!) The spa treatments included full body massage which I took advantage of. We also ot discounted tickets for Warwick castle which was good and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room was big and the bed comfortable, the only downsider is that the sports club attached to the hotel is a bit strange and incongruent with everything else, the corridors look like school ones and it seemed a very expensive gym for not a lot! The pool, saunas and outdoor jacuzzis were great.

“Great for a girls spa break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

First the positives, the package we bought was good value. the evening meal was very good and the restaurant staff were attentive. the outdoor tub was a great place to sit and chat, massage was very relaxing.
No the not so positive, the staff at breakfast were indifferent and uninterested. The bedrooms are on the small side, and my biggest bugbear, no ice buckets in the room because of 'company policy' - what is that all about?????

Dear Guest,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your recent feedback.

I am pleased that you enjoyed your recent Spa Break with the Ardencote Manor Hotel and I would like to advise that I have taken your feedback on board regarding the Breakfast Staff and I am working with my team in order to improve our customer experience.

With regards to your comment on Ice Buckets, I would like to advise that it is company policy to provide ice buckets when sending Wine/Champagne that has been purchased from the Ardencote to a guest bedroom. However, if this was to chill your own alcohol we do not provide ice buckets due to is being against our licensing law to allow the consumption of alcohol purchased from elsewhere.

Kind regards,

Azhar Mian
