We stayed at the Thatched Barn (in room one) for our anniversary and both the accomodation and location made it a truly memorable event for us. The hosts
Chris & Sandy are congenial, interesting and very welcoming. The room itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable, with an incredible shower and had a view we could never
tire of looking at. The breakfast was ample and nothing too much trouble - we are a family of strict vegetarians and were catered for incredibly well.
As a family we have a rule that we never go back anywhere - if we have the money to travel we never repeat an experience: always somewhere new: something new. The Thatched Barn has put paid to this as we are already planning a return trip. In 25 yrs we have never returned anywhere but this B&B is going to be a regular stop for us from now on.

The barn and rooms have been tastefully converted with great attention to detail. The views across to Arundel castle are breathtaking. The location is beautiful, very peaceful and good for walking straight from the door. In 15 mins you can be on the top of the south downs with excellent views to the coast and wildlife including lapwings and skylarks. The breakfasts are excellent taken in the barn and the Wepham wonder is to be recommended. Chris and Sandy are very welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home. With a great pub in the George and Dragon only 10 mins walk up the road for good food and beer you really have got everything.

Fabulous setting and luxurious rooms with views of Arundel across the valley, and a great breakfast. We were staying with our family for our daughter's wedding and the owners were incredibly helpful and solicitous. Highly recommended.

A great location, with uninterrupted views over fields towards Arundel, the Thatched Barn proved to be the perfect location for a great weekend away. We spent a long time looking for somewhere to spend a relaxing weekend before my recent (successful!) kidney transplant and the Thatched Barn proved to be just right. The large room (number 4) had plenty of space and a large patio area where you could enjoy the views and peace and quiet. The room was modern and stylishly designed. Freshly cooked breakfast was provided in a large barn conversion/art studio room together with the aforementioned "Wepham Wonder" which my wife really enjoyed. The local pub (10 mins walk) the George and Dragon provided a excellent dinner. There are plenty of places to visit nearby including Arundel and the seaside. Friendly hosts who have done a great job of converting the property into its current high quality accommodation complete the experience.
