We stayed at the hotel for seven nights. We were warmly welcomed, and throughout our stay the owners and other staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's situation is quiet and peaceful, in a tiny village a few miles from the main coast road, and there is much wildlife to be seen. Arundel is nearby and the whole area is full of architectural, literary and historical interest. Our double room was comfortable with good quality bedding and a small but modern digital television set. Coffee- and tea-making facilities were provided and topped up regularly - very good biscuits! Towels were changed regularly.The standard of breakfasts and evening meals was outstanding.

Great place to stay! Attentive staff (no chain anonymity here) without being in your face. Great food - we had dinner and breakfast and both to be recommended. Off the beaten track but in a lovely position only a few minutes from Arundel.

From the minute we arrived to the time we left,nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself was beautiful and tranquil, and if you are looking to de-stress this is it! stunning views and excellent quisine. The owners were friendly and charming. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night! next time we will stay longer.

We only stayed here for one night, but we absolutely loved it. Great room with a four poster bed, lovely views and situated in great surroundings.
