We stayed at Soughton last weekend for a friends wedding. The wedding was lovely. But considering how expensive the rooms were there was no hot water & the bath did not work ! In the morning when checking out the staff did not seem to care & just wanted the money. Unfortunately this left a sour taste over the whole weekend. We contacted the hotel direct twice & they ignored us both times.

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently and were delighted with the place, the food and service in The Stables is fantastic and Richard gave us a warm and helpful welcome. We were let down in the morning by the older lady running the place who was blunt, unhelpful and keen to get us out. Let down

Our daughter was married in Soughton Hall in December 2011.The venue was excellent.The hall looked magical with its lavish Christmas displays and decorated trees.
The food and service were excellent and we had a truly memorable day.
Well done to Annette, Jane and all staff!

The hotel is very tired and the service was poor. The rooms were badly serviced and carpets were worn and stained.
The curtains fell down and not repaired.
I would not recommend this hotel to my friends.
