Stayed for a 2 night leisure break on a B&B basis with my husband and teenage son. The hotel was clean, warm and staff very welcoming. The breakfasts are all cooked to order with a huge choice on offer. The rooms are lovely with little extras like hot chocolate as well as the usual tea and coffee, and small sprays of lavender pillow mist. Nice big TV on the wall with Sky Sports included (my husband was so happy as he got to watch the rugby live). The leisure facilities are great with a pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room and a fully equiped gym. Ramsbottom is a couple of minutes walk down the road with some really nice independent shops. We had a really lovely weekend at The Old Mill, the staff can't do enough for you and are so friendly. Oh and last but not least, the grounds and gardens are really beautiful - even in January! Well done to everyone at the hotel for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed one night and found the hotel clean, quiet and spacious. The room was larger than the usual big name hotels with a really comfortable bed! We only ate in the morning at the hotel but this was as good as any other hotel I've stayed in. The staff were very courteous and efficient. Two minutes walk from Ramsbottom high street and for £59/night inc breakfast for two I cant imagine finding better value! Will stay again!

I bought a night in this hotel for my husband for Christmas! The excellence started with the 2 very helpful ladies who dealt with my email enquiry and reservation. It continued with the person who greeted us on reception. The room was beautiful - squeaky clean, everything working and just as it should be. Dinner was great - the staff were excellent. We got the impression that they genuinely wanted the guests to relax and enjoy themselves. Breakfast was also very good indeed as were the staff who served it. Overall a wonderful stay - we could not find any fault whatsoever. Value for money was amazing and we will certainly stay again. It was an excellent Christmas gift and hubby had a wonderful time (as did I) Well done Old Mill - keep it up!

Stopped for one night on business on a bed breakfast and evening meal deal.
Room fine and had a good nights sleep.
Food and drink good , bar staff cheerful and atmosphere in bar great...it did help watching Man City lose in a room full of Mancs.

Had a great looking pool and leisure centre too which I was given free access to but had no time to use.

Would thoroughly recommend
